WhyGen Solar LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective July 17, 2026
This policy explains how WhyGen Solar LLC ("WhyGen," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through this website.
1. Scope
This policy applies to information collected through the WhyGen website, including recruiting applications and consented website analytics. It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Application details: first and last name, email address, phone number, selected market, your Why WhyGen response, and an optional resume.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, timestamps, and routine security or server logs.
- Marketing information: if you accept marketing cookies, Meta Pixel may collect page activity, browser or device identifiers, IP-derived information, and cookie identifiers such as _fbp.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your resume unless it is necessary for your application.
3. How We Use Information
- Review applications and communicate with applicants.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights.
- With your consent, measure advertising and campaign performance.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to providers that support our operations, including:
- LeadConnector, which receives recruiting form details through our application workflow.
- Resend, which delivers application emails and optional resume attachments to our recruiting team.
- Meta Platforms, Inc., only after marketing consent, for campaign measurement and advertising services.
- Website hosting, security, and technical service providers.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business.
5. Cookies and Meta Pixel
Marketing is disabled by default. Meta Pixel ID 1013184428176369 loads only after you select Accept. Meta may then use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to provide measurement and advertising services. Learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
You can reject marketing when first prompted or reopen your settings below. When Global Privacy Control is active, marketing stays disabled until you explicitly select Accept for this site.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for recruiting, communications, security, operational, legal, and recordkeeping purposes. Retention varies based on the information, why it was collected, and applicable requirements. Third-party providers may retain information under their own policies and our service arrangements.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information; to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; and to appeal a denied request. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Submit a request to [email protected].
9. California and Other U.S. State Disclosures
The categories described above may include identifiers, internet or electronic activity, professional or employment-related information, and inferences associated with campaign measurement. We disclose these categories for the business purposes described in this policy.
We do not sell personal information for money. When you consent to Meta Pixel, disclosure to Meta may be considered "sharing" or targeted advertising under some state privacy laws. When Global Privacy Control is active, marketing is off by default. Selecting Accept explicitly enables marketing for this site, and selecting Reject opts out again.
10. Children
This recruiting website is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date when changes become effective.
